Justin Pollack is a Managing Director of PineBridge Investments. Formerly a founder and Managing Director of Newbury Partners, Justin was responsible for the origination, valuation, execution and monitoring of secondary investments. Prior to Newbury, Mr. Pollack was a Vice President in the Secondary Group at Auda Private Equity LLC. Previously, Mr. Pollack was a member of the Financial Buyers Group in the Investment Banking Department at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. where he executed public and private debt and equity financings, as well as merger and acquisition transactions for companies owned by private equity sponsors. Mr. Pollack graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing.
Richard M. Levich
Richard M. Levich is Professor of Finance and International Business and Deputy Chair of the Department of Finance at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is also a Research Associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a founding editor of The Journal of International Financial Management and Accounting. Professor Levich has been a visiting faculty member at many distinguished universities in the United States and abroad including Yale University, the University of Chicago, Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in France, the Australian Graduate School of Management of the University of New South Wales, and City University Business School in London.
Haran Segram joined New York University Stern School of Business as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance in January 2009 and became a Clinical Assistant Professor of Finance in September 2016.
He teaches courses in Investments and Valuation. Professor Segram’s research focuses on the application of advanced discrete choice and probability modeling in analysis and explanation of credit risk. He has been interviewed on various finance related topics by BBC, Bloomberg, China Global Television Network (CGTN) and Channel News Asia.
Professor Segram was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance at Columbia Business School, where he taught Valuation and Capital Markets & Investments. Professor Segram was also the Founder and CEO of Haran Business Valuation Advisors, LLC. This company provided full service Business Valuation Advisory for both Public and Private Companies. The firm worked closely with senior management of the clients focusing on valuation, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and potential sale of the business.
He has previously worked as a business analyst for a global consulting group and as an investment analyst for a mutual fund. Professor Segram received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Sydney.
William Tenenbaum is a Senior Anlayst in charge of Financials and Real Estate for Scopia Capital Management LLC. Scopia is a $5bn+ hedge fund located in New York. Founded in 2001, the firm employs a fundamentals-based, value-driven long/short equity strategy to generate absolute returns that are uncorrelated to the broader equity markets. William graduated with honors from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business in 2012.
Fred Liu is Hayden Capital’s founder and portfolio manager. He holds a B.S. in finance and international business from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Prior to founding Hayden Capital, Fred was a research analyst at New Street Research responsible for covering the cable and satellite industries. Before this, he was the industrials analyst on J.P. Morgan’s Small Cap Equity fund, a five-star Morningstar ranked strategy that invested in securities under $2 Billion in market cap.
Nikhil Daftary is a Partner and Co-Founder at NK Capital. Nikhil previously worked as an investment professional performing long/short equity and credit analysis at Three Bays Capital. Prior to Three Bays, he worked as a distressed debt and long/short equity analyst at Anchorage Capital. He began his career as an investment banking analyst in Blackstone’s Restructuring & Reorganization practice.
Nikhil graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Finance & Accounting.
Krish Daftary is a Partner and Co-Founder at NK Capital. Krish previously worked as an investment professional performing long/short equity analysis at New Mountain Capital. Prior to New Mountain, he worked as an analyst in the Corporate Finance practice at McKinsey & Company.
Krish graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Finance.
